Design

I designed the guitar in Fusion 360. Starting with a 2D outline I added pockets for the pickup and neck, holes for mounting the bridge and more. Then I extruded the design into 3D and chiselled away until I had the finished design.

3D Printing

It took over 60 hours of printing to print all the guitar's body pieces.

2

Electronics

I made a custom PCB which reads the guitar's output and drives 50 LED's in sync with how the guitar is being played.

All Lit Up!

Here it is in all it's 3D printed, LED glowing glory!

4

Changing LED Modes

An OLED screen on the back of the guitar allows the different LED lighting profiles to be selected. Also the brightness can be cranked from 1 all the way up to 11.
